We had a great time Treasure Hunting today – Kian’s treasure was our friend Bob. We ran into Bob as we were waiting to pray with a Kiosk clerk who had a sore back but was very busy with customers. Bob’s a great guy, but I know I scare him with a few things we do. I invited him to help us look for treasure, but he said he had to run. After he had gone Kian said “I had Bob on my Treasure Map”.
A few minutes later we saw Bob and his wife at Starbucks in Safeway. We had “Starbucks” “Safeway” and Kian had “Bob” So when we saw Bob at Starbucks in Safeway I asked Kian to pray for him. He prayed for him to “stay healthy” and to “not be stressed” and it really meant a lot to Bob.
Just before that, I had “cinnamon” and Ron (someone else in our group) had “Tree” and to our surprise, the coffee shop in mall is “Cinnamon Tree”. There was one person there and he had 4 of the six things I felt I needed to pray for. He also asked us to pray for his son who was looking for work.
There are a few more amazing stories, but suffice it to say, it’s more fun than geocaching.
We came home and saw a pair of tire tracks leading up to our house. It was too slick for someone to make the corner. The vehicle came to a stop less than an inch from the corner of our house – so thank God for angels. Anyway, looking forward to the Key tonight. Good things are happening.
