How to Get the Good God Has For You
How to get the good God has for you.
I know that there are many of us struggling with things in this life. Some issues are because of health. Some are because of finances. Some are relationships that really need miracles to change hearts.
These are the areas where hope is tested. I want you to know you can still have hope. I want you to know how to get the good God has for you.
The writer of Hebrews points out people who lived before the cross and endured incredible pain and suffering and notes:
All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. Hebrews 11:39 (New Living Translation)
And we could say, “That means not all of us can expect God to be good in this life.” But look at verse 40 – “For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us.”
The Heroes of Faith before Christ were looking for Christ, and so they didn’t get the promise because the promise was waiting for His moment in history.
Don’t let that verse convince you that God isn’t good or that He’s not in a good mood. Things changed at the cross. He’s no longer angry with our sin. It’s paid for, washed clean, made new.
You can know How to get the Good God has for you. You can see the goodness of the Lord in the Land of the living.
It starts with knowing God is Good and that His plans are good plans for you but before I try to explain how you can be sure you want the good God has for you, let’s look at the promises God has given us for good in our lives.
